Happy New Year

Sorry its taken so long to update the blog. Our server is slow, which always makes me reluctant to take it on. But alas, here I am. Lisa and I had a great Christmas holiday. Went to church on Christmas Eve as per usual and it was as fun and as "christmasy" as ever. Spent time with friends, family, had a giant turkey. All was good. My mom, Jennifer, little Vicki, and Ethan all came down for the New Year. The trip got off to a rocky start -- when the Stacey Christmas curse took over...this year, Jennifer's front tire flew off her mini-van as she made her way through the Muskokas. Amazingly, no one was injured...just spooked. She had her tire repaired in Bracebridge (thanks Larry's Garage!) and made in time for turkey casserole. My mom arrived without a hitch -- only decided to wait for us outside the airport, while we waited for her inside. It took at 45 minutes to realize where we all were. Then we couldn't find the car in short term parking (I hate Pearson Airport, its designed by Machevellian engineers). In the end we all made to the house -- where we continued to have a really swell visit. Little Vicki is smart as a whip and makes friends everywhere she goes (even at Value Village) and Ethan has come a long way from the intensive care unit at the Montreal Children's....he's a big boy.
