LISA AND VICKI DEBUT AT TIFF

Ah the Toronto International Film Festival. Here we are hob-nobbing with...um, our friends -- since don't know any celebrities and we're too Canadian to have our photos taken with Lance Bass. I can't consider Sook Yin as a celebrity because she's been in our kitchen ...but she's defintiely the Indie scene's "IT GIRL". Went to see ShortBus and it was great. I'm sure you've all read the crazy reviews with shocking titles like "Porn debuts at TIFF", "CBC Condones Porn for Radio Host", and my favorite "Sex Film Shocks Toronto". But it was a really lovely, moving picture about a bunch of lonely people. The crowd loved it. The party was also pretty cool. The Hidden Cameras" and John Cameron Mitchell performed (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0248845/ & http://www.thehiddencameras.com/). Lisa and I left tired, and with crappy swag bags filled with coupons to places you'd never dream of using a coupon. It was a blast. XOXO
