Insemination Break

AH! THE JOYS OF HOME OWNERSHIP

As many of you already know -- we've taken a little time out from inseminating. We had a small mold problem and leak in our basement (see Lisa's picture removing said mold to your left) and ran out of money (it costs about $1400/month) for the specimens and various meds. Luckily we get the med costs back through insurance...but that still leaves an $1100 bill each month. We're back on track though -- having saved a little cash in the last couple of months. Unfortunately -- we now have a leak from our toilet into the kitchen. Fix one thing and something else happens. There's a two foot hole in the kitchen ceiling and a bowl catching a slow drip from a leak where the joint the meets the stack. And you know what plumbers get paid. I've taken on a few odd jobs next week and hopefullly that will help offset some of these "unexpected" expenses -- (as unexpected as you can get for an 85 year old house that has been renovated by dangerously dumb people)...So that's the latest -- stay tuned though for a recap of our exciting summer holidays!
