Frances Beatrice Makes Her Debut

Frances Bea is well on her way to becoming the most talked about baby in Toronto. Here she is:





Day one -- with Foufee the cat.

SHE's HERE! Baby Girl Stacey-Ayuso

It was a phenomenal birth -- too tired to detail it all. But we laboured at home for 11 hours and Lisa almost had the baby in the backseat of Mariko and Charissa's car. But alas -- baby girl Stayuso was born at St. Joes at 12:49 Pm. A lunch baby. Natural. No drugs, no interventions. Lisa is a super star. Amazing! Name is still being determined.

Okay...a few days left

And finally the Joan Jett pictures have arrived. (Mom - Joan Jett is a famous singer, who shot to stardom first in the group The Runaways, and then with the Billboard hit, "I love Rock n' Roll", among others).

So here they are...Lisa and her rock idol together. Lima Bean is officially the coolest fetus in the world.

A week to go....

Yup...hard to believe -- but we're a week away from the due date. It seems like yesterday when Lisa thought her belly was never going to get bigger! Oh that pointy area is apparently a bum.

Lima Bean Celebration!

Celebrate Good Times....

November 4th -- Lima Bean's celebration. Friends, neighbours, family -- everyone gathered in person (if not in spirit) for the grand event. Mariko with the help of Abi and her mom -- helped to put together a fantastic afternoon of Jello Jiggers, scones, cheese plates, and conversation. Oh and there were amzing gifts too. We clearly have the most loved fetus in all of Toronto -- if not all of Canada.

Thanks to all of our friends who were there, and for those who couldn't make it...you were in our thoughts. Oh, and we saved you some heart shaped jello jigglers.

19 days 8 hours, 46 minutes....

I guess you could say we're getting a little anxious now. So what better way to pass the time -- then throwing on a costume and celebrating Halloween. Here's Phoebe clowning it up for us, and I'm dressed as everyone's favorite lesbian talk-show host. Guess who? I foolishly forgot to carrying around a scrawny dog from the pound. Oh well.


Lisa decided to dress as an audience member who's 9 month pregnant. I think she wears it really well. Stay tuned for updates...for now its pretty quiet on the Stayuso front.
