23 DAYS AND COUNTING....

The clock is ticking toward November 22... and we're pretty certain of our due date -- since we know the exact time (10:08) and date (March 1st) of insemination. It seems like it was just 243 days ago, when Lisa was at the clinic, navigating the annoying secretary and jabby ultrasound technician. Now we're in full prep mode -- buying groceries, cleaning the basement (?), fixing the furnance. This coming weekend friends are coming over for a small shower to welcome the Lima Bean and rub Lisa's belly for good luck.

Oh My God its October....

Lets go Argos...Lets Go Argos...

That's right...Oktober Fest, the final regular CFL games, the blessing of the animals, turning leaves, heavier coats(unless you live in Toronto), mums...so much happens in October. Including Thanksgiving.

Robert, Jolanda, an Arlo came down for Thanksgiving and we had a nice time. Arlo is rhyming machine with a fondness for ostriches. We also had a great visit with Marci, Brad and Donna -- who brought with them a plethora of gifts for the lima bean. We are all set now -- Marci bought us a rocking chair, a bouncy chair, a bathtub, onesies, sleepers, balnkets, toys, thermometers, and the list goes on and on. It was unbelievably generous.

September Continued...

September -- like I said. It was a jammed packed month of excitement. Lisa met Joan Jett at CBC. She (Joan Jett) was doing and interview with The Hour and Lisa ran unp and had her sign the belly. It reads -- "to Lisa, rock hard. Joan Jett". Cool, huh? Yes we officially have the coolest fetus in the world!


We also managed to squeeze an Argos game in (We won...sorry Bluebombers). We also bought the crib, tried out Autoshare for the first time, and used our brand new shop vac. It was a good month.

September -- Or What I call the New Year!

September

It was another busy month for Lisa and I. I always think of Septmeber as a little bit like the New Year -- TV and Radio relaunch their shows, you get new clothes (I got a sweater vest, three new shirts, and a nice pull-over). Lisa had her driving test and Unfortunately failed -- (grumpy civil servent who was clearly inept at her job, because Lisa is a great driver). We also finished up the baby's room.

Dog Days of Summer

August!

August was also chalk full of great fun. Lisa and I hosted the girls weekend with Cynthis (Darth) Romani and Alison(Mojito) Batty. We went to the EX, and a spectacular cabin in the Moskokas, where I caught a large lake trout!

Cyntha and Alison brought some much need Kinkora Spirit to the house. It took me a week just to get over them leaving. (Psst move to Toronto...we'd have so much fun)...We also took the Labour day weekend off to spend time with our other BFFs

Charissa and Mariko. It was so great. We ate well, sunned, swam, ran, canoed...Tranquility Cabins really lived up to its name.

Woefully Neglectful!

My apologies -- I've been so busy having fun I forgot to keep some sort of record of it. First, Lisa and I are great. We are 32 -- almost 33 weeks pregant and Lisa looks amazing and isn't suffering from too many aches and pains. We've had an amazing summer filled with friends, family, plenty of meat, and midwife appointments.
We left off in July -- after a marvellous vacation in Val D'or. Lisa's Belly has progresses slightly in this month:



We also began in earnest to get the house ready for the little Lima Bean.
