Summer Fun...continues!

Ah... when urbanites go berry picking. Unlike my early picking days in Sept-Iles...here in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), we take a berry bus to a field, get a stylish wooden container, and pick specifically grown berries. It was a lot of fun. I also sampled the delicious pecan tart and some of the home-grown berry wines. Delicious.

Summer Lov'in

Summer has officially started -- With a visit from Arlo, and thenh Peanut. Here are a few pictures of the good times so far.

It sure is hard to not love summer. 2 and a half weeks to go until our vacation. Lisa and I are driving to my hometown -- Sept-Iles, Qc. We'll be stopping in Quebec City, Taddoussac, Forestville (for lunch, of course), and then Montreal on the way home. Whale Route 138 -- here we come!!!

Oh we were pumped this year. We had a cheering section (thanks to my crew from Val D'or, and Lisa of course)...we have pom poms, a sign, and stylish running outfits. But that damned cherry cheese danish was a sorrowful mistake. About half way through the race, I started to feel a little gassy -- and well, I don't think I could have done it if it hadn't been for a slow moving Queen, the scottish pipers, and my running pal, Mariko Tamaki. Thanks J.F. You're the best.
