Baby Making....

Its not quite as easy as 1,2,3....

Many of you have been asking about how things are going in the baby-making department. While we are not pregnant -- we're also not "not pregnant" either. That is, we're still on a break from insemination -- so its not as though we've been trying and had no luck...its just we've been too unlucky to try. The house has kept us rather busy. Plumbing, roof, and drywall extravaganzas have left us a little financially tapped. But we'll soon be back in action. On the baby front -- one of our pre-baby projects has been completed. Our documentary on having a baby will air on CBC radio November 8th. Check out Outfront for times and Listings (http://www.cbc.ca/outfront/). Lisa and I couldn't have done it without the help of Carma Jolly. She's a superstar. So stay tuned and we'll have more on our crazy pre-baby adventures. Summer Camp Reunion!

Kinkora Reunion!


14 years later -- and so little has changed. Lisa and I trekked up toMontreal last weekend for my summer camp reunion. It was as though time stood still at Camp Kinkora. The boats looked the same, Kinkora House smelled the same(a distinctive old, wet sock, fungus-type odour), and the food tasted the same. Most importantly -- my friends were the same too. None of you have changed a bit(well, accept for Cynthia and her sleep apnea machine). We maybe a little older, but it was like being blasted back in time. It was so great seeing the gals (Alison, Cynthia, TK) and now all their kids. And to think you guys almost hired some chick named Amber instead of me...just think what could have happened.

(Not exactly the same crowd at Second Lake as the early years)....
